Performance Festivals

The Center for Performing Arts has produced a fall festival showcasing the work of local artists for most of its 29 year history.

In addition to celebrating our vastly varied community of artists at CFPA , over the past two years, our festivals have offered the opportunity to share the new works created by our artists in residency.

2023: THRESH.HOLD: a building-wide performance event which included the production of 3 new site-specific artist pieces, and performances by our community members Prairie Fire Choir, Brass Solidarity Band, and Mahto Peta Toispaye Drum Group.

2024: Sept 7th: CFPA will produce an evening of performance centering the work of our cross-cultural artists in residence, as well as performances by artists who work out of the Center for Performing Arts.
