Summer Camp Policies

CFPA Camp Policies

Our Community:

Participants in CFPA’s Summer camps must strive to be courteous and empathetic to all people and surroundings. CFPA is a place of acceptance for all people. Cruel, malicious or intimidating behavior of any kind will not be tolerated. Individuals of any gender, that is: boys, girls and any and all trans or non-binary genders must be respected. If a behavior problem is constant or if a behavior poses a threat to the safety or well-being of one's self, the other campers or staff, CFPA reserves the right to dismiss campers without recompense.

Tuition:

CFPA’s summer camp program requires payment of tuition and fees in order to participate in the program. The following tuition and fee policy must be followed:

A non-refundable registration fee of $100 dollars is due at the time of enrollment.  Tuition is due 30 days after registration and no later than April 1st unless a payment plan has been arranged.

Refunds:

  • Between Feb 1 and April 1 refunds can be made, minus the $100 registration fee.

  • After April 1st, refunds will only be made with an additional $60 processing fee and if we can fill your spot from a waitlist.

  • No refunds are available 14 days prior to the start of your child's week of camp.

  • CFPA reserves the right to cancel a camp session for insufficient enrollment.  In this case, notice and full refunds will be provided to registrants by May 15th.

Pandemic / Closures:

If camp is forced to close under government orders or from safety recommendations stemming from a pandemic, a prolonged natural disaster or social instability, CFPA will guarantee your full tuition will be applied to a future week of camp this year or next year without any extra fees applied, even if the price increases in the future.

Dangerous Weather / Cancellations

In the event of dangerous weather, CFPA may cancel camp in the interest of child safety. Any decision to cancel camp for a day will be based on weather information available by 7:00am on the day in question. Any cancellation will be communicated via notification to parents' primary email by 8:00am. If a day of summer camp is cancelled for weather safety we cannot offer refunds or make up days.

Drop-off and Pick-up Policy Disclosures

Parents or guardians are responsible for dropping off and picking up their child on time. Students must be dropped off no earlier than 10 minutes before the start of class and picked up no later than 10 minutes after the end of class. Parents or guardians must provide CFPA with a list of authorized individuals who are permitted to pick up their child. CFPA will not release a child to anyone who is not on the authorized pick-up list or who is not able to provide proper identification. If a parent or guardian will be late to pick up their child, they must inform CFPA in advance via email: info@cfpampls.com. If a child is not picked up within the designated time frame, the studio will make every effort to contact the parents or guardians.

If a child is in the designated waiting area, waiting for a parent, CFPA will not be held liable for any injuries or incidents that occur while the child is waiting. CFPA will charge a late fee of $10 dollars for every 15 minutes of waiting beyond the designated pick-up time. CFPA reserves the right to refuse service to any parent or guardian who repeatedly violates the late pick-up policy.

Smart Phones and other Electronics: No video games, cell phones, audio players and other devices are permitted during camp time.
